Had a 7 point lead early in the second half and then were down 5 with 5 minutes. Reversed the trend and came from behind late to win.

I'm more of a "glass half-full guy", I guess. Still torn, pissed about the season, but I watched and really liked this game. Attacked the basket, tough defense, moved the ball and played tough.

They're playing a lot better. Finally inserting Keller into the lineup is paying off, big time.

This is the most frustrating part. We have really good players. I think Harrison is the real deal.

Crazy that he barely even played in January. Mike has to figure his rotations out and identify who is going to play much sooner. Take a minute and think that Connor Dow was starting over Keller for a good stretch of the season. Inexcusable.

For some reason, we have always peaked late under Boynton. Is it the players finally catching on or coach(s) finally dialing in what we can/should be doing with the players? I suspect one over the other considering the theme from season to season... Keller over Dow is a prime recent example.

Last year it cost him a tourney spot. Quit mass subbing and fit your players to defined roles. Don’t lose at home to So Illinois when you are up 4 possessions under 10 bc you can’t figure out who should be on the floor.

Win that one game and you are in the tournament and likely retain a few pieces from the team so you could blend w this good group of freshman.

Then you probably make the tournament this year and are set up for an extended run.
