You sound like the far-right that thinks teachers are indoctrinating students with LGBTQ content.

There is a definitive and undeniable need for more teachers in the classrooms. And there are many qualified people that could be teachers. But the problem is driven by such low teacher compensation that the position is not attractive for many.

I agree and appreciate the need for the bill, but I don’t agree with the solution.

Also, especially at the high school level, we have to not think that students are just empty vessels being fed with knowledge they can’t analyze.

I still remember a high school physiology class and the teacher was teaching how skeletal muscle cells are multi-nucleated. He commented “To me, this shows that there was a Creator.”

Probably shouldn’t be said in a science class (nor should “proof” of no creator.) But, I heard his thought, I wasn’t harmed, and still remember it (and the fact it is multi-nucleated) 38 years later.
