I’ve heard some people say some girls simply don’t want to play for her. The reason being I have no clue. We’ve probably have had 15+ D1 players in the state the past several years and can’t even land them. Maybe after the lexy keys and Taylen Collins leave, maybe she pissed off the HS coaches in Oklahoma?

I mean OU keeps landing in-state kids so i don’t think they simply want to get out of Oklahoma. Hopefully they come around soon.

It almost seems this has to be the case. I get a few people leaving in the portal, but not everybody but one. Money may be the reason for some of them, but for others, they're not getting more money but still leaving. It has to be from within the program.

That's crazy to me because from the outside they present it as a real sisterhood. Jacie is always giving the postgame
"family" speeches and running in to all of the excitement after a win. Would be interesting to hear from the inside.

CBS Sports has McGill as the 2nd best overall player to enter the portal, behind Audi Crooks.

Who cares honestly. Every coach in every sport in America is having to spend more than they want and overpay. I don’t know anything about her but on paper this looks ginormous!! Most teams only play 6 to 8 players anyways so I say shell it out for those eight players.

I mean if you don’t cool..but I do especially if it hurts us from getting a decent post. I’d rather not have players like heard guarding 6’4 post players but that’s just me.

I know we have to spend money, that’s stating the obvious! But spending it wisely where you only bringing one player back is quite important as well!!

I agree but I don't think you can turn down the chance at a player of that caliber though. Thats 2 former 5 start recruits she's brought in. I'm sure she knows she's needs a big, or two.

You definitely don’t…I’m just curious how could affect the rest of the roster building. If it doesn’t, maybe cowgirl basketball got a NIL boost or we did a helluva job evaluating talent.

Considering we don’t have any bigs on the roster. We definitely need a few. We also need to hit on those unlike last season

I ageee . What happened to all the money we spent last year? I’m sure it was over $1M combined. It all left minus Heard who probably makes the most. Sports are a slot machine. Throw money in and pray something hits or you unearth a superstar. Someone like this young lady is fun to watch just like Andrea was. We need speed, energy, continued excitement. Like you said hopefully it didn’t break the bank
