Official Game Thread of Disappointment: OSU vs Tulsa

If they do fire Gundy I'm gonna assume they want someone who will fill the spot of what Gundy built at OSU. Because, it snapped all OSU sports.

I think you saw what Meacham could do in the fourth quarter which gave us a chance to make a comeback. It seemed like that invigorated our defense. It’s amazing what a motivated team can do. Unfortunately, Gundy ball isn’t motivating. Meacham ball might be better. I think Gundy should turn over all coaching duties to his OC and accept a buyout at the end of the season. He needs to announce this now so the BOR, Hess and Weiberg can begin a coaching search.
First, it was Tulsa…a bad team that lost to New Mexico State and blown out by Navy. Yeah, I get Gundy probably handcuffed Meacham but even with a vanilla offense going 3 quarters (7 when you include Oregon) without figuring out how to score a TD is absurd.

Totally agree on your second half.

Todd Grantham had NFL experience. May not be the best experience, but its experience either way. Doug Meacham, I think he has some experience with the long ball, which we saw last night. I think Doug is who Gundy wants, and personally I think if Gundy gets fired he'll probably be moved into the interim head coach spot.
Dude, every coach that’s been fired has ‘experience’, doesn’t make them good.

Do y'all really think Zach Robinson would come to OSU?
No and neither would Monken. We are looking at a decades long prolonged collapse of Cowboy football thanks to Mike Gundy‘s handling of the inception of the NIL and the Portal. His slow response driving last year‘s team into the ground, followed by a complete turnover of the team and coaching staff with insufficient money to do it has us with possibly the worst Oklahoma State football team I’ve ever seen and that includes the O-10-1 team!

4 of those were against the number 4 team in the country. The other 3 were Gundy's systems. Even going back and watching the game this morning I could see a difference from quarter 1-quarter 4.
