Do yo think it is because there just isn't talent?I didn’t think I’d see a less imaginative OC than Dunn, but Meachum has succeeded in doing it. He is really bad.
No. You can try to scheme things to maximize what talent there is and running everything between the guards ain’t it. There’s a reason he’s been let go everywhere he’s been.Do yo think it is because there just isn't talent?
Both can be true! The best and the worst coach in program history?
I was about to say the same thing. This the worst I've ever seen, and I was born in 1977The best and the worst coach in program history?

Could pay a coach a fraction to lose all the games. And firing the best coach in the program’s history. What year do you all think we will become bowl elegible again?

I had major concerns about that hire and seems they were justified. He got fired as OC mid year at Kansas! People tried to convince themselves he was good at TCU but unfortunately that was all Sonny Cumbie.I didn’t think I’d see a less imaginative OC than Dunn, but Meachum has succeeded in doing it. He is really bad.
At a certain point, no matter how good a coach you are, the game passes you by. Happens to everyone. Honestly lot of respect for Stoops to recognize it and get out before it got really bad. He’s lost the plot. Not sure how else to say it. He’s out of his element. Time to move forward.
I’m not entirely sure he’s that good of a coach. I think he landed in a perfect situation. Manage it exactly like you could have and is now bleeding that managerial position dry.At a certain point, no matter how good a coach you are, the game passes you by. Happens to everyone. He used to be a great offensive coordinator. He could map out a winning game plan and called a good game.I’m not entirely sure he’s that good of a coach. I think he landed in a perfect situation. Manage it exactly like you could have and is now bleeding that managerial position dry.
That’s not a coach, that’s a mid-level manager who got promoted to a position he didn’t deserve and got lucky on a few projects.
