Plott has been so steady all year long and has the natty in sight, but UNI guy is on another level (beat Plott 12-6 and 14-5 this year).
That said, Plott has a shot if he can keep it close heading into the third period. You give yourself a chance with 3-point takedowns in the mix.

I know this tournament isn’t going to to result in a national championship but at least the Pokes are headed in the right direction. Qualifying 10 for the national tournament is no small feat and could potentially have to national champions. Baby steps fellas. Baby steps

I think it was riding time? I only caught the tail end of the mat but that close to the end, I would have expected the brick. I only caught the tail end of the match so could be wrong.

Yes. I was listening to Rex. He's all out of sorts. He had just given up on the match and also said riding time not a factor just moments before and then he's yelling and excited and then he's down again.
It was riding time. He needed that take down 7 secs sooner, Iowa guy had 1:06 of riding time

If I do the math right, Olejnik will either earn 7 team points for win or 6 team points for loss in 5th place match.
Fix and Plott could each earn 16 team points winning natty or 12 team points each for loss.
I guess there are also additional points that come into play if win by fall, MD, etc.
So, plenty of points out there for the taking to help team placement. Of course, the same is true for rest of teams.
