Like hell he was. Fix was taking shots all match. When the stall point was given Vito was doing f*ck-all himself. Fix got royally shafted.

I agree with you on his previous appearances in the finals, but Daton wrestled his ass off this time. I got nothing but respect for him. He was wrestling a guy who is longer and quicker than he is. Vito was repeatedly head butting Fix in the face. Daton has a giant pair of brass balls and he wrestled his butt off to the very end. I wish he could’ve won it, but he’s a winner in my book!

He wrestled well to begin with…once he got the technical violation and got a 2-0 lead…he got tight. Everyone in the arena saw it, even the announcers could sense it. Daton has no question been a great ambassador for the university and the sport

He gave it everything he had and attempted multiple shots. Vito is just too quick for him and yet Fix still could’ve won that match. I think there ought to be penalties for repeated head butts.
I’m afraid you’re going to see the same thing in Plott’s match today. I guarantee you he’ll let it fly and give it everything he’s got but Keckheisen is just a level above everyone else, including Dustin. Hope he surprises me….

Stop…the first one was an accident. Not the first time he’s been head butted. There was only two head to head contacts. Fix unfortunately wrestled tight the majority of the match.

Not questioning the effort…wish he would relax and trust his skill set. At the same time fix is a dinosaur at 26 years old so the book is out on him. He’s still got a lot of time at the senior level
Eh, watch it again...Fix was taking shots and defending them.
Also watch the 2nd Vito TD where he grabs the feet and then knocks Fix down. Ref is calling Td while Fix is still on his feet...no hand down. They were anticipating. Its also why the othe rhad to be reviewed...they called it quick bit Fix had reaction time. That was ghetto in the ring and on the sideline.

Don’t need to…fix didn’t even get to his legs. Only time he did was after a shot from Vito. One takedown wasn’t legit and they got corrected after the review…the rest they got it right. Fix got plenty of help from the refs including a lock hands call.
Fix only scored one takedown in his last 4 matches. He was surviving and advancing. That wasn’t going to work with Vito. Refs didn’t lose this for fix. If you truly believe that maybe you should rewatch the match once the emotion has calmed down
