well Charlie did catch the ball quite well so i thought he was a good tight end for us. he was also a good olineman in the NFL i dont know where he went to.

Vernon Grant. Dude bled orange. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dude fully embraced by the fan base like that guy was. Ollie got close. Gone too soon. Would love to see him in the ring of honor one day.

I thought that guy was the very definition of Cowboy tough.
Agreed. I was at that game. If I remember correctly, we were playing Nebraska. A the time, I thought he may have killed that DB as well.Ironically, the single hardest hit I saw at OSU was compliments of Ronnie Williams, our starting QB at the time. He threw a bad interception down the south sideline and the DB was running it back when Williams came at him full speed ahead. The DB smartly stepped OB while still moving forward. Williams didn't care, he was pissed off and looking for payback. He successfully targeted the guy and absolutely drilled him, causing the ball to fly up into the front row. My initial thought was the kid might be dead, thankfully he was not. The next season Williams converted to WR at OSU, then went on to a moderately successful NFL career with the Houston Oilers.
Charlie is OC and OL coach at Stillwater High School. He goes to all the OSU games.well Charlie did catch the ball quite well so i thought he was a good tight end for us. he was also a good olineman in the NFL i dont know where he went to.
Speaking of Charlies, how about Charlie Weatherby. I always thought he should have had a rifle of an arm. Sadly, I was wrong but his name is cool.Charlie is OC and OL coach at Stillwater High School. He goes to all the OSU games.
