Huh? David Pakman speculates that Trump to end war is going to go along with making essentially the same Iran nuclear deal negotiated by Obama. Trump during his first term ripped up the original deal for no good reason.

Basically returning the land Israel ceded to Lebanon in the 1980's when Israel went after Hezbollah - funded by Iran's ayatollah Khamenei (Iran seems to fund a lot of the nonsense in the area)
Also my uncle died in the barracks attack in Beirut in 1982 from a suicide bomber.

The area up to the river is being described as a "security zone." I'm not sure Israel ever ceded land to Lebanon, but it's certainly been a battle zone dating back to the late 1970s.

I think Israel is currently doing too much and going after old grievances.
Iran does too much and can basically print money with their oil reserves.
I'm not sure if us being Israel's sugar daddy with handouts and Iran's sugar daddy via oil purchase is a wise decision and I think we've seen Donald Trump has a pisspoor record of keeping ratchet whores in line (which is what both are acting like)

You can't name objectives clearly. That only brings on accountability. Everyone knows this.
IMO this contrived military objective is like most things the last 10-15 years of the National R party.
It wasn’t perfect but Obama’s admin did hard work getting the allies on board and negotiating the Iran Nuclear Agreement. But bc it was Obama the Rs ran w tearing it up on day 1 of any R presidency. I don’t think any one of them would have done it except the one. The leader of the cult. He was just stupid enough to do it without a back stop. The others were, like w a lot of topics, beating their chests and raising money to feed the base.
Everyone but him (even Rubio and Couchtabator knew better) knew that any strike on Iran would have huge energy/economic consequences. Hell it’s why every administration including Regan, Bush 1 and Bush 2 didn’t attack Iran.
He’s backed into a corner. BiBi played him. He knew exactly how to draw Trump into his war and after the bombing campaign this summer Trump felt cocky. He forgot that Iran controls the taint (Strait of Hormuz).
Now we are paying for it. Service men and women will continue to die for it. We are weaker for it (as evidenced by his Greenland bluster ahead of Davos and our allies calling his bluff and now calling it again).
IMO he’s way beyond delusional. The man believes every lie he tells is truth. He’s the most dangerous man in the world and
will do anything and everything to keep from being held accountable to even any
minor thing “Many people say”. Can you honestly say that everything is better under tRump? Please,throw this reckless, self-serving maniac under the bus. How many people must die under this administration before the sycophant Congress grows a big pair, and take back their Constitutional powers, Either go on vacation for a week, or cancel your damned fundraisers and help the people who freely voted you into office despite the pretend king’s ludicrous claims. How much more pain can he cause before the mid-terms? Impeachment and removal from office could end his selected war and let the world know we haven’t all lost our minds.

I pray we can repair the breach before our Democratic Republic is just a recent memory.
