Middle East

What!!??

Comer: "I don't like where we are with having to fight this battle in Iran, but remember -- this is cleaning up Joe Biden and Barack Obama's mess. Unfortunately it landed in President Trump's lap."

Trigger Warning:

Israeli soldiers tortured a 1 year old in front of his father by burning his legs with cigarettes and hammering a nail into his leg.

There’s a special place in hell for these people.

Trump: “We had a Dow at 50,000…Unfortunately, I called a lot of our great people. I said, let's talk. We got a problem in the Middle East. We have a country known as Iran…and they're very close to having a nuclear weapon. We can keep going and get that 50,000 up to 55 and 60, or we can take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East and eliminate a big problem.”

When he starts calling him a Democrat you know it's hitting the fan.

I'm still waiting for one of our high-ranking government officials to refer to it as a "special military operation" to avoid using that "W" word.

People actually believe this sh**....it's a cult..if you believe this, you're a cult member

Trump: "Democrats call this period of time a war. We call it a military operation."

Isn't that what Putin is calling the Ukraine conflict?

Birds of a feather, I guess.
I had to wait longer than I thought! :ROFLMAO:

No amount of ineptitude surprises me now

Hhhhmmmm.... 5 day pause. Would be wild if something important of ours was struck by "Iran" during this pause. It would suck to get pulled back into an all out war.
If you haven’t go back to the X account posted a few messages above from Shanaka. Have no clue who the dude is but if you keep up through his posts he has one that goes into detail about how Iran has built a missle factory 1500’ underground in a granite mountain. Our best bunker buster can’t get close to it. He goes on to explain their delivery system and how they just keep it simple. Sure eventually they run out of supplies from surface to underground but it will continue to cost us billions

I am aware of the underground missile bunkers, but not familiar with Shanaka.. Kinda cool name to say out loud. I'll check it out.

US actions in Iran are 'haphazard', former Trump aide tells the BBC

John Bolton, who was National Security Advisor between for little over a year during Trump's first term, has described the US military strikes in Iran as "haphazard" and "not well thought out".

As a long-term supporter of changing Tehran's clerical government, Bolton tells the BBC's Newsnight that, "It would be nice to do it the right way instead of the haphazard way in which Trump is proceeding.

"The American people were not well prepared, Congress was not prepared, the allies were not prepared."

Bolton also says Iran has realised the devastation it can cause by blockading the Strait of Hormuz, where about one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas passes through.

"The reality is if this regime remains in power, they now have visible proof of the effect of closing the Strait of Hormuz. It's not quite a nuclear weapon, but it leaves them in control of the oil coming out of the Gulf at their discretion going forward."

Since leaving the White House in 2019, Bolton has been a vocal Trump critic – writing in his memoir that his former boss was "stunningly uninformed" and unfit for office.

I'm honestly not sure I've ever seen the US look Weaker than it does right now

U.S. sent Iran a message through mediators as Trump signals he's open to a deal, Iranian official says - CBS News https://share.google/kkICVUnWBKEjt5hEz

We managed to turn this into a long term problem. Iran was a paper tiger. We've seen it for a while now-their leaders talk a good game to keep the population from revolting for the most part but it's easy to chant death to America when you aren't really going to do anything about it. At worst they funded proxy wars in the region. Terrible yes, but they were less water moccasins and more mosquitoes when it came to their ability to inflict pain on us. Now they know for a fact they can inflict economic pain on the entire world and aside from a ground invasion there isn't a thing we can do about it.

We could reach a deal and stop bombing them tomorrow but going forward even the threat of closing the strait again can cause worldwide economic chaos. Had we done an ounce of planning we probably could have made sure they didn't touch the strait and that wouldn't have become part of their defense arsenal. Now they know and they know we know. It's almost as if replacing our best minds in the DOD with idiots who only answer to one guy was a bad idea.
