Middle East

President Trump fully acknowledging that this is a “war” and that American lives “may be lost.” All done against our Constitution, against the will of the American people, and without Congress’ approval.

Trump just posted an 8 minute long video, in which he attempts to justify his decision to unilaterally and illegally declare war on Iran.

The gist of it? “Because I want to.”

There were three notable moments to me:
- when he sets expectations for US casualties
- when he tells Iranian military and police to surrender
- when he calls on the Iranian public to rise up against the regime

Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian foreign minister, promised that Iran’s army “will teach aggressors the lesson they deserve.” He added that by attacking Iran, Mr. Trump was serving the interests of Israel — Iran’s main regional rival — rather than the United States.

Given that Trump claimed that we annihilated their nuclear program a few months ago and killed their primary nuclear scientist, this guy does have a point.
Just like I complained that Russia's fears of NATO when NATO had not done anything to Russia were not a reason to invade a sovereign nation, what specifically has Iran done recently to create a need to attack them and try to remove their government right now?

This is clearly a war. WTF is congress? Does anyone care about the constitution anymore? This isn't limted airstrikes. We are doing regime change of other nations without congress.

Sen. Rick Scott, who also sits on the committee, praised Trump for his “strong leadership” following the strikes, which were dubbed part of “Operation Epic Fury.”

“Operation Epic Fury is peace through strength on full display, and a reminder to our friends and our enemies: The U.S. will ALWAYS put AMERICA FIRST,” Scott wrote online. “We will always stand with our friend, Israel, and we will NEVER allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene blasts Trump’s Iran strikes the hill

“Thousands and thousands of Americans from my generation have been killed and injured in never ending pointless foreign wars and we said no more. But we are freeing the Iranian people. Please,” the former GOP lawmaker wrote Saturday in a nearly 700-word post.

“There are 93 million people in Iran, let them liberate themselves. But Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons. Yeah sure,” she continued.

“It’s always a lie and it’s always America Last. But it feels like the worst betrayal this time because it comes from the very man and the admin who we all believed was different and said no more.”

Now he’s started a war to change the subject once again. He’ll do whatever he deems necessary to prevent being exposed as a pedophile. There is no end to his cancerous lies and excuses. How many troops and civilians must die in order to feed tRumps selfishness and casual disregard for lives lost? All to cover his, more than likely, heinous behavior. He’s a coward! What ever happened to the old Republican mantra? If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime? What a whiny , criminally inclined snowflake!. My God man, have you no shame? Nope!!!!!

Kamala was never going to send anyone to war. She was going to invite it here.
