This is the sh*t that Rob does that drives so many of us crazy. Youngerman has been awesome - just a big time performance and clearly is your #1 or #2 moving forward. He hasn't been stretched out hardly at all and with a 7-0 lead in the 8th inning do you really need to throw him 120+ pitches? Get him out after 7 and let the bullpen protect a 7 run lead with 6 outs to get. He's been great today, hopefully he isn't being overextended as obviously he's going to be a big part of the rotation going forward.

Yeah, don’t be surprised next week if you hear he’s dealing with some “arm soreness” or “fatigue”. Youngerman has been brilliant but not real smart to leave a guy out there for 130+ who’s primarily been your closer going an inning or two, and with a 7 run lead.

That’s the team we’ve been waiting for. Great effort all the way around, pitching, defense, at the plate. Go get a sweep and claw back some of those games we dropped the last few weeks.
