Was not a pretty series but good to see a sweep! Much needed for this team.

To have any chance in winning the Big12 tourney to get into the NCAA tourney, Walton is going to have to shore up that bullpen. Finally have some good starting pitching but the bullpen is suspect at best.

The RPI is at 55...I think 6-0 gets an at large bid, but I don't see 6-0 happening. 5-1 puts you on the bubble, but again that's a tough ask. Just take away 1 of those ridiculous losses (Winthrop, Illinois State, Mo State) and you probably have a realistic chance, or finish against Arizona, or DBU, or KU.....

Crazy stat:

Despite the sweep, OSU currently has ONE player hitting over .300 (Bruegge .319)
That has to be a first for my lifetime (I'm 47)

Not one mention of the UCF pitcher tossing his cookies on the mound before facing Schubert? Tom Holiday and his broadcast partner didn't even mention it as the camera was zooming in on the guy.

Rex and the Chief mentioned it. I wasn't watching it at the time. Rex said he had only seen that once before, a long time ago.

I'd have lost a lot of money if someone had suggested Bruegge would be outperforming Schubart this year.
