KSU at OSU

We are finding really interesting ways to fail.
2nd and 3rd with no outs and we get nothing out of it

I've been as critical of the coaching as anyone but at some point these players have to show some personal pride and perform. Routine ground ball defensive errors isn't on the coaching. And it would be nice if one guy, just one, would show some mental toughness at the plate and put the ball in play with a runner at 3rd and less than 2 outs. Just awful, awful baseball.

2 out error by Culbertson
Let the ball play him.

It was not a good throw but Bruggeman is as poor as any first baseman we’ve had in a long time in picking the ball in years. The first one came up nice and he should have had. The second was more difficult as it was a short hop skid. A good first baseman has at least one if not both.

At this point, the staff can only so much. The lack of leadership is apparent from the players
