I have answers, I just know you and I will never agree (on almost anything)...I expected retaliation...I did not expect killing of thousands of innocent Palestinians...If they are using civilians as 'human shields' that "does not lessen their responsibility to distinguish between terrorists and innocent civilians and to protect the lives of innocent civilians as they conduct this military operation." quote from National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan...Israel continues to kill innocent civilians and most of the Western world (many who even call themselves Christians) are OK with this...

So the Palestinians are using their own children as human sheilds and in your twisted logic it is somehow Israel's responsibility to sort out who's who? Nobody is "OK" with it and you know it. If you didn't expect the killing of innocent civilians then you are even more naive than I thought. It's war and people are going to die. It appears that Israel is doing everything they can to spare as many civilians as possible but the terrorists are insistent on using their own women and children as cannon fodder . You don't have any answers, you have just chosen to defend a group of terrorists that are indefensible.

2006 was 17 years ago, and Hamas has not allowed an election since. The median age in Gaza is 19 years old. That means the supermajority of todays citizens were not even elligible to vote in 2006, and ~45% were not even born yet. Does that sound like a democracy Mr. Disingenuous?

Edit: I will always consider those that hold the power in a situation more responsible than those that don't. That is how responsibility works.

There is a reason why both political parties and the vast majority of Americans have actually found something they agree. It is because a terrorist organization has killed and kidnapped innocents.

That is because there is more propaganda and misinformation on this issue than any other in world politics today. Most people dont even understand the most basic facts about what has gone on, or the history of why we are here.

Netanyahu's goverments have killed several multiples more civilians than the Hamas terrorists did  before the terrorist attacks. That has only accelerated since then.

You are not going to like this statement, but it is the truth. There are counterterrorism philosophies that are essentially state sanctioned terrorism itself. They have been the predominant conterterrorism philosophies since 2001. The proof is in the pudding and in the incredible amounts of suffering various people have gone through. The vast majority of them had no part in harboring terrorists. Collective guilt is BS. Do you see now that ultimately empowers extremists? We (the US) is incredibly guilty of this, as is Israel. They are 1a and 1b as far as things are concerned.

This is not a viable path forward for Palestinians or Israelis who hope for a peaceful future.

He’s right about this. I don’t think there is a viable path for a peaceful future with these two as neighbors. There really never has been. Sadly, you should brace yourself for more violence and death and no amount of sky screaming by you and the squad is going to stop it.
