Iowa State at OSU

T8 Ruby at 115 pitches and 13Ks

4 pitch walk
-Eberle out after another ball
Strikeout swinging
Single to LF, that girl is 4-4
Fielder's choice to SS, runner out at 3rd. That's a big play
4 pitch walk. 2 pitches looked pretty good (she has the 2 HRs)
Single to CF, RBI. Freshman hitting .226
Pop out to 3B

5-4 ISU, last call again for the Cowgirls

The ESPN preview for the Bedlam game had interviews with OSU players talking about "one thing: OKC." Please.

This team is 5-6 in the very weak Big 12. Honestly, its coached pretty poorly. Kenny sends some strange pinch hitters up at huge times and then leaves Schneidmiller in with the game on the line? Did I miss Hasler getting hurt?

“Because our offense is so pathetic, we’re asking (Meylan) to — basically — we’re asking her to not give up runs,” Gajewski said. “It’s a bad recipe to win games.

It’s like the boogeyman,” Gajewski said. “He creeps into their head (when there are runners on), I guess, because I’ve watched these guys do it off live arms… If I had the answer, I’d get it fixed. Again, that comes down to coaching."

“We have no offense… It’s about as gross of an offense I’ve seen here.”

Kenny G’s honesty and accountability is so refreshing.

At least he isn't making excuses. He has enough good will built up that he can have a bad year. Happens to every that doesn't play in Norman. I think he hit a home run with Eberle as the pitching coach but we need a seasoned hitting coach. Offense has always been Coach G's worst phase.

Offense is hit or miss as well as a lack of a pitching staff. Meylan is in the exact same situation as last year in Washington. Who do you throw tomorrow?

Crandall might be able to go 2-4 innings and after? Kutz can’t throw strikes or she’s serving BP. Aycock has been shelved and isn’t much of an option at this point. If this team can make it to supers, it will be a successful season and that’s looking like a stretch.

B1

Right as Rachel Becker says "the cowgirls are taking strikes and swinging at balls" Edwards takes a pitch down the middle and flies out on a pitch that was too high

Davis singles to RCF
Wark lines out to LF
Godwin grounds out to 3B, pretty high pitch to swing at early in the
count

0-0

Crandall throws a 3-1 pitch down the middle and it's a solo HR from Mallot who now has 3 HR this weekend

Follows that up with a walk

Man, OSU sports is a massive excuse train. The wind, injuries, not being at home enough, blah blah, blah

B3
Bloodworth pops out to RF
Edwards walks
Davis doubles to RCF
Wark HBP
Godwin grounds out to 2nd, RBI, throw to third to get Davis gets away, she scores
Hasler walks
--New pitcher
Hathoot bunts, Wark out at home. Bold move to try to score a runner from 3rd who has giant knee braces on

2-1 OSU

ISU has won 4 of 5 vs OSU, unreal

OSU 1 for 14 with bases loaded in league play
