That’s a good question.
I certainly think he has the “ability” since we have won one and played for more. Let’s not forget the years when Bedlam decided the conference/ division champion. Am I happy with everything Mike has done? No. Do I understand how hard it is to replace a successful Head Coach? Yes.
As fans go I rate you as MEDIOCRE!

We have tackled well outside of a couple plays, then listed about 10 missed tackles on one drive.
- We are going to continue to rotate quarterbacks.
- Doesn't think there is anything significantly wrong and we "aren't far off"
- Thought the QB's played well (did he watch the 2018 game on accident or something?)
- Kept making statements and saying "this is to save you time so you don't have to ask the question."
- We are going to start running QB draws. Bowman can do it, but he can't run it like Gunnar.
This is bad folks.

To summarize his excuses for not being able to run the ball, it’s because the other team keeps putting 11 guys out there to stop them.

The QB carousel rinks of butthurt from the weeden days when he picked the wrong QB.
Now, we will not win and never have rhythm but he can say I gave all the QBs a chance…. So he can’t be yelled at about the QB.
It’s hard enough with a bad offensive line but he is really killing any chance of us doing well with 3 different QBs out there

Maybe he wants out and this is his way to get a severance.
He did the three an system to get a default to his son. It’s gutless, and I don’t think I’m a full blown Gundy hater. This is really disappointing. The net effect Saturday night was Bowman getting booed. That should not happen.

If OSU fires HCMG, he is owed over $25 million. What university can afford that? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that number doesn't go down over time. From what I understand, he's on a perpetual, rolling contract.

I agree its "bad", but what on Earth is going on, here? How can a guy making this much money that knows this much about football and coaches a D1 program answer questions in this manner? Someone make this make sense.
Like.......this almost comes across as him being deliberately obtuse or petty for some reason.

I truly believe gundy wants to retire with his severance of $25mil dollars buyout. He knows it will get bad enough for someone to step up and get rid of him

What a crock. I have always been a Gundy fan, but I'm over it. He gets paid 7.5 million dollars a year to make tough decisions and win football games. That includes firing under performing coaches and picking a starting QB, even if your son is involved. To think that you can continue on with the QB carousel after scoring 7 points and getting your butt handed to you by USA reeks of arrogance and a person that believes they are untouchable.
