I'd be curious to hear how he would define that other 20%
IMO, if 80% is good for law enforcement, that leaves 20% that would be showing abuse of power/dishonesty.
20% seems like a high number for that to me, but my own eyes so far have shown that may be low...
Body cameras are such a cop out (pun intended). Without actually holding people accountable, they do nothing. In a system where people were held accountable, they might be moderately useful. But if recordings are selectively shared/saved and the perpetrator not serving time for abusing people and stepping on their constitutional rights, it really changes nothing.

Body cameras would not have changed the outcome of Renee Good or Alex Pretti's murder. Without citizens recording and documenting everything, they would be as memorable as Keith Porter.

Washington — A federal appeals court judge dismissed a judicial misconduct complaint that the Justice Department filed against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, whom President Trump has denounced over his handling of a legal battle involving the Alien Enemies Act and the administration's swift removals of Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador.

It should be mandatory to have an officer fired if their body camera was off.

They'll just arrest Don Lemon for "invading" another church instead.

I'm sorry, but would you quit writing this.

Write something like "I just want to bang Shakira."

I mean, be at least a little bit realistic.
I know, you're right, but this isn't the "Do you want to bang Shakira" thread. I just don't know what else to say in this thread anymore. It's say that or say nothing. My brother and I were talking about it this morning and I kept saying that, "I just want it all to stop."

Good lord I just want it all to stop.
I’ve got 2 really good friends that are both sr pastors at 2 medium sized churches. Went to dinner w one over the weekend and lunch last week w the other. Neither are MAGA but both are very conservative and would never vote for a D.

Both of them wo prompting said they were ready to retire even though they are both about 10 yrs away. I asked both “Why? What has changed?” Just a yr ago both were recovered from the burnout caused by the madness that ensued from the pandemic. By late 23 early 24 both had finished writing books. Their churches were growing and their ministries were thriving.

It was like they were both reading the same script. They both said everyone in their church (both in OK and both definitely not “woke”) is just angry. Every conversation in their small groups has gone back to politics. There’s staff drama again. Giving is down as is attendance.

The only question I asked both was “There is a common denominator. Who do you think that is?”

I was doing some reading yesterday about the growing divide among evangelicals that I didn't realize was there, "political evangelicals" and "theological evangelicals". I didn't realize that there were a large number of people who felt like I do, disgusted by it all. They need to speak out.
