I also don't know what was going through his mind when she took off at him. Maybe he is a POS just looking to shoot someone.

Bottom line is she started the series of events that got her deceased and now the left will use it the same way the right will.

Border security.

He ran on securing the border and getting rid of criminals. I think both of those were popular. In fact, so popular that congress would have taken care of it and Biden would have had to sign it if Trump had not killed the bill to get elected.

I don't think many people were imagining "border security" to mean your neighbor who has been here since 1997 as a permanent resident living/working would vanish into prison and deportation because of a parking ticket and misdemeanor weed possession in 2003.

That is a massive problem. Talarico if he doesn't fizzle out in 8–10 years, but there seems to be a huge dearth of leadership on the dem side.

Pete Buttigieg is really intelligent and might be the closest. But has some election flaws:
1. He is too wonky. Smart more than personable
2. He is gay. We are close, but not quite there
3. Stained with Biden. Too many Biden haters out there.
4. His name is absolutely impossible

If you don't like the DNC establishment, then Mayor Pete is not your guy. He has all of the same backers Biden and Hillary had.

We need a new direction. I like a decent amount of what Talarico says. I also don't think he goes as far as we need to go to address what has gotten us to this place.

Edit: If Bernie wasn't so old, I would be supporting him this time around, but we need someone born after 1975 IMO.

Any time I've heard anyone say "I'm not mad at you, dude." they were trying to instigate someone. That's not fear.

What are you talking about? It showed a lot more than I expected, to the point I was really surprised it was released. It directly contradicts Noem and Vance's public statements on the matter.

He’s just getting started. Maryland will prove a challenge. Baltimore mayor has done a remarkable job on the murder rate. As well Pennsylvania. But watch. Something will happen in those states in 26.

They are not worried about Harris or Newsome. They beat Harris once and Newsome will have something they expose. As a D tide rises they will leverage Fed resources to drive the discourse. They are inept at so many things, but this is not one of them.

Yeah, that is why we need electoral reform. We need ranked choice voting, single transferable vote or proportional representation to negate the impact of money's involvement in politics.

The democrats have a historically low approval rating at the same time Trumps approval rating is in the low to mid 30s. We need something very, very different. And a movement that can take power back from corporations. They are going to need to carry a big stick.

Just like a broken clock you are right twice a day. The ICE agent was looking to shoot someone. There is no other reasonable explanation. Unless you have an itchy trigger finger, you don't pull your gun in that situation or stand in front of the vehicle, while also filming with your cell phone. However, you are also correct in that she put herself in a bad situation and then panicked, which resulted in her death. The problem is she didn't deserve to get executed (shot 3 TIMES at least once in the head) for making a poor decision.

What it shows is that nationally the admin feared the tide was tipping against them. They selectively “leaked the video.” They will never lose right wing media or the podcasters/influencers. Too much money to be made. They will never lose the Magastanis. Too much money to be made off of them.

They saw normal Rs, Indies and Ds thinking this was a bridge too far.

Their initial response was a lie and they knew the narrative was getting away from them.

She should not have gone there or placed her vehicle in that situation unless she was willing to risk ARREST and possible jail time. He should have never casually walked around the vehicle and placed himself in that situation.

She should not have been executed.

ICE should not be conducting these types of operations on everyday people.

Agreed, and I'll take it one step further. ICE shouldn't exist. It is a rotten organization top to bottom and is beyond reform. Abolish ICE and reassign any crucial activities to other agencies.
