Just a totally unserious operation right now. I'm sure Houston has a flight as COB said, which would have been known in advance. With the forecast as it was all weekend and knowing they had a Sunday evening flight, absolutely no reason not to play an afternoon DH on Friday and/or push the start today up to early afternoon to give you more flexibility. Hard to look at it and think anything other than we just weren't that motivated to play. Pathetic.

Yes, they could have played a Noon and then a 4 pm doubleheader on Friday!!!

Did not hear it. Knowing the 2 of them, my guess is Rex was more contrite than needed to be and Josh was significantly less so.
Appears Youngerman is still out, no wonder they didn't try and play all 3 games this weekend after using Watkins on Friday. Pitching staff is in such shambles that it's late April and don't even have a clear cut 3 man weekend rotation.

Baghdad Bob aka The Chief letting everyone know that a DH wasn't possible Friday. Or that it was, but it would have taken until midnight to play and "you still had 2 days to play." The excuses are never ending.
