ESPN - Gordon

With the RB market in the NFL being reset and only 20 RB’s going in the 1st round since 2010, it’s a reasonable question as to whether the Heisman would really change his draft stock.
Gundy said in his press conference that their goal is to aim for 20 carries per game for Ollie, but if it takes 30 to win, they'll give him 30, and that future (NFL) potential factors into their decisions.

Winning the Heisman may not help your draft stock but it undoubtedly increases your earnings potential. I would think RBs need that supplemental income a whole lot more than QBs or WRs. But if the cost is being ran into the ground, then perhaps it’s not worth it.
