It was a definite reach in. Just after they inbounded it on their own end of the court. No reason to even reach in to slap at the ball.

I'm okay with her doing this. You need to fight for your team. I'm sure behind closed doors she made sure everyone knew not to put the game in the hands of the officials

Praise averages 10 minutes and played two minutes today. Akol averages 25 and played 35. That is the way it has been throughout the Hoyt era, we ride a six player rotation to death. Kind of like the way HCKG throws his ace until her arm falls off. I suspect the problem lies with not having the resources to bring in any quality bench depth, or maybe we don’t adequately develop bench depth in the non-conference. It’s hard to complain because HCJH has made the NCAA Tournament 3 of 4 years, but it just feels like there is room for improvement.

She probably needs to have 3-4 consecutive seasons of missing the tournament to be on the hot seat. She is a better looking version of Dick Halterman. Weiberg didn’t exactly beat the bushes when he hired her. He worked with her husband at KSU, and she took UMKC to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. I think he knew he would hire her when he fired Littell.
