Good news this team seems to struggle with bad teams and really show up against good teams so should be smooth sailing from here

Stailee is already an all time great. She plays in 4th gear all the time. Not too fast not too slow. She will learn teams are going to bait her and flop on contact. She goes strong to her right side so many of the flops are angled that direction. Asi looked slow tonight. She’s not a good ball handler when pressured. Very one-man game tonight. Hope others produce tomorrow

In their defense, and only in the slightest amount, women’s basketball is a nightmare to ref. I only did it at the intramural level and it was the worst

I get it. My granddaughter plays competitive basketball. It’s not really that hard to determine if feet are set or the defensive player is moving. If anything, Heard has to learn to stop extending her lead arm. Everyone knows she’s going to do it and just bumps and flops.
