Conference Realignment - What's next?

Honestly, minus the LA chic Utah fans, this should be the most untied conference ever especially if Wazzu and OrSt end up coming…..hands down. Us against everyone else.

Today? Probably Baylor. Don’t know why I think that, maybe because we no longer have a clear cut one. It’ll take a few seasons to shake things out and build up some true rivalries. Hopefully as a school we don’t just pick one at random and say they’re our new rival, cause that would be super lame. But screw ‘em all!

If we can force them into having 50%+ MWC teams I think the P5 group becomes the P4 conferences. Even with the potential of shrinking network payouts those networks will require broadcast inventory. If we can get them bidding on reduced inventory it may mitigate (or even reverse) declining payouts.

Just saw this from wayyy back in the thread. No reason to politely disagree! I’ve probably been wrong at least a dozen times since typing that.
