Very disappointed in the OSU fan base. Derogatory anti religious chants echoed out during the game aimed BYU and its Christian heritage. No response from officials or administrative persons present. Not the first time this has happened, but a classy student body would not allow this or would report those who perpretated this chant.

Obviously not condoning this behavior, if true, but what exactly can the Big 12 officials do about it if it is substantiated? I guess ban the person(s) who said it?

OSU has some of the classiest fans in the country and that is backed up by the many messages we get from opposing fans making the trip to Stilly for football games, thanking us for the hospitality/experience. Let’s hold off on the judgement until we get the facts of the matter, not just from an emotionally charged head coaches postgame comments who is frustrated after a loss.

A student section would NEVER say “F the Mormons”. They would say the actual F word in the chant. That’s how you know it was “Refs are Mormons” (in addition to the people who were there that confirm this.). Should just leave religion out of any chant but if we are going to criticize let’s at least get the facts right.
