Missouri running away with the Big 12 title in the same fashion we used to do! Something needs to change!
Would you be saying that if we had Kerkvliet and Ferrari in the lineup? This was the year we were supposed to be loaded. It didn't happen because, well, it didn't happen. But that doesn't mean we need to change things. It means we need to load up again.Missouri running away with the Big 12 title in the same fashion we used to do! Something needs to change!
He was committed to us and is one of the top 3 heavyweight in the country and will compete for the NC the next 3 years.Never heard of Kerkvliet
Seems like we hear that very often. We *should* be loaded or we *could be back next year* and it hasn't happened for a very long time.Would you be saying that if we had Kerkvliet and Ferrari in the lineup? 165 gets 8 AQs so Sheets has an outside shot at an at large bidSession 3: Consolation bracket
125: Witcraft v. (2) Jore Volk (Wyo): Witcraft get the pin! Will wrestle (7) Joey Prata (OU) for 3d!
141: (4) Carter Young medically forfeited to Swiderski. Will face (2) Mosha Schwartz from OU), but will likely MFF and finish 6th.
149: (5) Voinovich lost 4-1 to (6) Mitch Moore and looked terrible doing it. Will face (2) Colin Realbuto from UNI for 5th.
165: (6) Wyatt Sheets got a Major Decision against Baylor Fernandes from N. Colorado for 9th place. At least he got a win in what might be the last match of his career.
184: (3) Travis Wittlake gives up the takedown in 1st to Deanthony Parker from NDSU and gets the escape to be down 1-2 going into 2nd. Wittlake escapes to tie it up 2-2. Gives up another TD 2-4, escapes 3-4 then gets his own TD near end of 2 to go up 5-4 and rides him out. Parker has 1:28 in RT, so that could play a factor. Paker chooses neutral, Wittlake get a TD to go up 7-4, erases RT and wins 7-4. Will face (4) Colton Hawks from Missouri for 3d.
197: (4) Luke Surber gets the 12-3 Major decision against (6) Evan Bockman (Utah Valley). Will face (5) Owen Pentz who he majored yesterday for 3d.
HWT: (8) Konner Doucet wrestled a typical Doucet match against (3) Zach Elam (Missou). both only scored escapes in regulation 1-1. No score in Sudden Victory. Goes to ride outs. Doucet gets ridden out. TB2 goes neutral and Doucet coudlnt get the TD. Lost 2-1 Will face (4) Aj Nevells from SDSU for 5th
Committed to us. Would have come if Ferrari hadn't flamed out. Ended up at Penn State instead. If we had Kerkvliet and Ferrari this year Mizzou doesn't have a chance of catching us. That puts 5 Pokes in the Finals instead of 3. Maybe 6 with everyone shifted down a weight class because of Ferrari.Never heard of Kerkvliet
