I think she was making the point that HHS Director knew nothing about one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations was under investigation for Medicare fraud more than she was defending United Healthcare.

Okay, I see your point, which is actually pretty hilarious, but the way the clip played, it sounded like AOC was defending UHC which was pretty lol, because UHC is pretty indefensible. But, yeah, RFK Jr, an attorney and the head of HHS, not knowing that the administration is going after an insurance company is… bad.

As I said, Bobby Jr is easily the worst member of the administration. And that bar is pretty hard to get under.

I just assume the others are blindly following a select few (just following orders) who have most likely nefarious motives. The followers are just seeking power & status and know that not showing allegiance will get them canned quickly.

And there are a few (I put RFK Jr in this group) who I just assume are kinda stupid and/or misguided and shouldn't have been given any responsibilities.

TL;DR-they pretty much all suck for different reasons & to different degrees. And they are being led by total dicks.

No doubt. But those can be stopped by the courts and will end as soon as we change administrations. Wrecking public health will be much more complex, worse, and longer lasting. There is already a great deal of misinformation and mistrust and after RFK Jr takes a wrecking ball to I am not sure how we will reestablish it.
