My wifes company is merging with another one this month. She will have the same job, but with a different company.
That means our insurance coverage changes, which (unless I'm way off) means our deductible starts over. I really hope it's not the case, or that there's something we can do. Otherwise it's going to cost of thousands of dollars.

On the more serious side, where is Paxlovid made? That is one of the most expensive drugs I've ever taken, great for getting over COVID fast.
This is devastating for nutrition research. Kevin Hall is the most prominent nutrition researcher in the country. This is like when Barry Sanders retired early.
The worst part is his focus is ultra processed foods. Which was supposed to be an emphasis of RFK jr. instead, he is destroying real science. Just horrific news.

I know you were hoping RFK Jr would focus his position on things that were helpful and stay away from the crazy stuff but it seems like he has done the opposite. That's been a real common theme so far in this administration.
Yes. I was hopeful. But flat wrong. He is a lawyer. He is anti-science. He has an opinion and pretends to know science and use it to back his positions. But, his positions change what he says about science. Science doesn’t change his positions.
