3 injured shots fires at Del City - Choctaw game

The video is wild, horrifying, and sad. Amazing portion of video is the head official (the white hat). Everyone is running, but he just stands in place. Thankful to learn no one died, but extremely scary for anyone.
 
Police confirm that person pulled a gun on a group of students at the Booker T Washington game last night as well. Suspect ran when police begin chasing him and he dropped the gun

Apparently one of the people shot did die.
 
Drove by the stadium awhile ago. Lots of traffic. Think people just trying to understand why here. Why at a football game? Does every single event have to be surrounded by police in order to be safely enjoyed? What’s wrong with people these days? Why schools?

New information is slow in coming. Why we haven’t heard anything about the police officer who discharged his gun is worrisome to me(haven’t they asked him yet). A lot of these students know each other and hopefully a couple will fink. School staff apparently saved the 42 year old male. Eight rounds and two guns found.

They better start checking for guns with metal detectors before games at schools. Legislators should fund this rather than trying to throw money at private schools. You can't get in the Payne County Courthouse without going through a metal detector.

I'm sure people have been wondering what's wrong with people ever since 1966 when a mass shooter went to the top of the Texas Tower and killed 15 and injured 31. People both young and old back then were forever shocked and haunted that such an incident could happen in America. Now over 50 years later, these shootings big and small will continue to go on as long as our country can't get over treating the 2nd Amendment as too sacred to change, much less repeal. Our country's fore founders must have believed the 2nd Amendment was well suited for their times but must wonder now why we can't change it for our times.

Two reasons: Love of Money and Power.
 
People that want to restrict gun ownership are just anti-capitalism and are putting their own selfish interests of oxygen and loved ones ahead of an arms dealer needing to make a profit to buy a second yacht.

It makes me sick that any of you would trash-talk the good people at these corporations and still call yourself American.

Stop trying to shame all of us that prefer to stay armed to the teeth despite our mental condition and have zero concept of deescalating situations. We're true Americans and you're not.

Hardly the thread to play your NRA rage game.Should we make sure football players and band members are armed or just eliminate all school extracurricular activities. What’s your solution, or do you see no problem? You sound like a troll trying to be funny. But funerals for kids are not funny to me or to the vast majority of humans.

Dude…. You reacted like the back end of a horse at a man’s comment on gun control that went over your head. I couldn’t believe you misinterpreted it so badly and instead of typing those words out in a way you’d take offense to I posted a gif that expressed that thought. I absolutely stand by that comment as it had nothing remotely to do with anyone getting shot anywhere at any time. It wasn’t even done in any mean spirited way, just thought maybe you’d rethink your outrage if you understood the sarcasm. If you think pointing that out makes me “sick” then baby I’m Ebola!!
