At 2nd base. Not SS. Just like Morrill. A very good 2nd baseman, good contact hitter then Josh gets hold of him. Makes him an average or below SS and changes his hitting approach and he regresses significantly.

Apparently Ortiz got injured again. I missed that, had already tuned out. Unfortunate.
Seems we’re always losing a starter to injury the first weekend. Then Josh, TH, Hunzicker will all start the injury excuse making.

As a manager of a D1 team why would you not go get the best hitting coach available after years of mediocrity at best? Ego. Exactly why Michael Gundy is hunting elk in Colorado and fishing the streams of Wyoming because he didn’t want to go get the best available coaches. He wanted yes men that made his job easy. Josh’s ego is as big as Mikes and he is very complacent. Poisonous in today’s sports.

So missed the first two games because they were on Flo. Doesn’t look like I missed much. Probably no reason to engage in this season and just hope we get some fresh blood next season. At least softball has a decent weekend against tough competition
I'd be willing to bet we'd have more than 31 Ks if we'd had to play all 18 innings' worth of those 2 games instead of getting cut short due to mercy rule.
