Beau Sylvester is starting LF at Arizona this year and went 1-4 with a double in a 10-7 loss to Stanford.

Jayson Jones starting 3B at WSU went 1-3 with a 2 run HR for a win.

Donavan Lafayette went 0-4 starting RF for University of Louisiana against Missouri State where Max Knight at 1B went 1-3 and Charlie Carter went 2-4 with a HR starting at catcher.

Drew Culbertson went 0-4 stating at SS for Michigan in a 5-3 win over Oregon State.

Elijah Alexander went 1-2 with a SB playing 2B for University of Central Oklahoma.

Nash Ferris pitched 1.2 inning in a loss for ORU.

Do we have a hitting coach? If so, who is it? This has been the established theme of Josh Holliday baseball teams, they stand and stare at perfect pictures right down the middle of the plate and then flail wildly at bad pitches out of the zone. It’s a consistent habit and it’s been going on for years. The irony is we went from possibly the best hitting philosophy ever with Gary Ward to this crap show that we have now. Bases loaded with one out and you don’t score a single run is inexcusable. All you have to do is put the ball in play to get at least one run in..
