Wow. One game but what an awful start to the season, getting run ruled out the gate. Defense was atrocious. 15Ks at the plate. Disappointing to say the least.

This just feels like Gundy’s 3-9 season already or maybe it’s the beginning of the 1-11 season with the Tulsa type loss?. Opening the season by getting run ruled by Arky? This team is going nowhere and Josh is headed down the same path as Gundy! We haven’t won a super regional since 2016 and haven’t even been to one since 2019. That is unacceptable for OSU baseball. That’s like our football team not making a bowl game for 7 years in a row. It’s time to cut bait! We should be able to attract a very good coach with the facilities that we have to work with!

Beau Sylvester is starting LF at Arizona this year and went 1-4 with a double in a 10-7 loss to Stanford.
Jayson Jones starting 3B at WSU went 1-3 with a 2 run HR for a win.
Donavan Lafayette went 0-4 starting RF for University of Louisiana against Missouri State where Max Knight at 1B went 1-3 and Charlie Carter went 2-4 with a HR starting at catcher.
Drew Culbertson went 0-4 stating at SS for Michigan in a 5-3 win over Oregon State.
Elijah Alexander went 1-2 with a SB playing 2B for University of Central Oklahoma.
Nash Ferris pitched 1.2 inning in a loss for ORU.

Ryan folmar is 1.5 hours away and would crawl to Stillwater for the job. Dan heefner at DBU as well. Steve sabins at wvu should be pursued as well.

Josh is the 18th highest paid coach in the country. He makes more than Arizona and Oregon state’s coaches. Sabins at wvu makes only 550k. Josh is vastly overpaid for very subpar results with OSU resources in baseball
