I once had a dad show up in my office to complain about one of my sixth grade boys. The sixth grade boy had stolen the girlfriend of this dads’s 12th grade son. When the 12th grader confronted the 6th grader the sixth grader beat the holy hell out of him.
As I’m listening to this story
I asked him what am I supposed to do it happened outside of school? The guy said that he thinks we need to teach more respect for soldiers.
I said Soldiers? He said my 12th grade son is signed up with the Army and it is disrespectful for a 6th grader to beat up a recruit
The 6th grade won state in wrestling 4 years later and did go on to an MMA career.
