It didn't used to be that way. Democrats turned on Gary Hart for a simple affair.

Yet, today there are people on here defending Matt Gaetz (while claiming they aren't) by pointing out rumors about others in the past. That is a change from the past so maybe it could change again. But only when people start to care about issues and not be so beholden to their politician.

Was it Clinton or G Bush that put someone up for AG and they didn't even make it to the vote because they had an illegal immigrant for a nanny at some point in their lives.
