I know this OSU Basketball forum, but he passed away today from cancer. He was an amazing player and contributed to a lot of great OSU-OU games.

Imagine the 1995 squad if he would have been playing for OSU instead of OU. All we needed was Gary Ward to give his twin brother a baseball scholarship and it would have happened.

Rest easy.

He was the type of player that you detested when he played for your rival, but you would have loved with all your heart if he played for yours. He’s still be an @#$&, but he’d be YOUR @#$&.

Guy was nails. Absolute competitor. Always.

He was a heck of a player in both sports, and by all accounts a class act. Hate cancer. RIP.

My dad actually would drive to Hammon to watch him play in HS. Minor and his family are good folks.

Loved rooting against him & Erdmann as a kid because deep down I respected them. Pretty amazing to be a big time college basketball player and good enough to make it to the show. What an athlete. RIP Ryan.
