OSU vs Sam Houston

Bad defensive possession leads to a layup at the buzzer. 3 offensive rebounds.

38-30 OSU at half.

Small 2 points, 3 assists, 3 boards...but makes things look much smoother.

I assumed if you tap your own offensive rebound in the backcourt that it would a violation? Guess not?

Nah I think once the ball hits the rim its considered a loose ball so no possession until someone controls it and a tap isn't considered control

Small looks like a difference maker.
I think the biggest difference has been moving away from high ball screen to initiate the possession. This is probably an affect of having Small w the ball vs Bryce or Wright. It has more off ball motion.

I suspect SHS will adjust and have their off ball perimeter defense back off and force the motion towards half court vs baseline.

This will make our secondary ball movement more important and let us see if we can play beyond the initial flow.
