MAGA Evangelical pastor and self proclaimed 'Prophet' Declares God is Far Right and Declares all Democrats are Evil.​


Pastor and self-proclaimed "prophet" Hank Kunneman said in his sermon Sunday that God is "far right," and that Democrats are "black dark evil."

Kunneman, the outspoken backer of former President Donald Trump and pastor of Lord of Hosts Church in Omaha, Nebraska, specifically highlighted the issue of gay marriage in discussing God's leanings.


"By the way, God is far right, never forget it. He doesn't just say, 'If you decide two men want to be married and you really love each other, I'll give you a pass.' He said, 'No, marriage is between one man and one woman.'

"That's red. That's called conservative. That's called righteous, narrow road. It's not wide road," Kunneman said in a video posted to X, formerly Twitter, by Right Wing Watch.

He continued from the pulpit, "By the way, any politicians that's watching, the liberal left, they're not purple, they love the fact that they're blue. And not just blue, they are dark, black evil. That Democratic party of no religious affiliation," he added.

Newsweek reached out to Kunneman Monday afternoon via the Lord of Hosts Church website. Newsweek also reached out via email to the White House campaigns of Trump and President Joe Biden.

An April Pew Research Center Poll revealed that 59 percent of U.S. Protestants identify as Republicans, compared to 38 percent who said they identify as Democrats. Fifty-two percent of U.S. Catholics affiliate with Republicans, while 44 percent affiliate with Democrats.


Sunday's sermon is far from the first time that Kunneman has waded into the political waters.

In August of 2023, Kunneman said he believes the Fulton County, Georgia, indictment against Trump and 18 others surrounding the former president's efforts following the 2020 election is the "devil's work."


"Georgia and what they're trying to do is gonna backfire, they're gonna all need a bunch of Tums," said Kunneman in a video posted on X by Right Wing Watch. "And what they don't realize is, what the devil went down to try to steal the soul of the nation, God is gonna use Georgia to absolutely now bring evidence to the forefront across this country that they're gonna wish they never did that which they thought they could do to the people of this country."

Kunneman said that those who trust the results of the 2020 presidential election "might want to reexamine [their] theology," in July of 2023.

"If you believe that the media's been telling us the truth all this time, and you believe that a guy that was hiding out in his basement, can't gather a crowd, he wasn't even around the crowds, could gather more than 80 million votes, you might want to reexamine your theology," Kunneman said.


Last July, the pastor attacked former Republican presidential candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy for his Hindu faith. Kunneman implored his nondenominational congregation, notably Gen Z'ers and millennials, to not vote for him.
 
Whoever removes tax exempt status for churches should be extremely busy these days. Sadly they aren’t.

Interesting how far right preachers never worry about all the adultery going on in the country even though the Old Testament penalty for it is death. I guess it's because the heterosexual acts required to commit adultery are considerably less offensive than homosexual acts.

Yet donors are yanking their support for entire Universities, Talking Heads are villainizing College as an entire experience that is "Woke", and Politicians are calling for National Guard to be deployed to confront these "Students".

Univ of Texas students made up less than half of Monday protest arrests​


The University of Texas released a statement on Monday’s protest, saying it believed most of the people at the protest were not affiliated with the university.

Seventy-eight of the people arrested are charged with criminal trespass. One of them has an additional charge of obstructing a highway or passageway, and one of them is charged with interfering with public duties, according to TCSO.

46 of the 79 people arrested Monday were not UT students,

Earlier today [Monday], a number of protestors [sic], many believed to be non-UT affiliated individuals, erected a tent encampment on the South Lawn, with a barricade enclosure of tables secured by metal chains, and strategically placed tools, tents, and rocks. When approached, protestors [sic] escalated by becoming physically and verbally combative with Dean of Students’ staff. In response, the University of Texas took swift action to preserve a safe, conducive learning environment for our 53,000 students as they prepare for final exams.
UT Austin requested backup assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety to protect the safety of the campus community and enforce our Institutional Rules, such as the rule that prohibits encampments on campus. Because of the encampments and other violations of the University’s Institutional Rules related to protests, protestors [sic] were told repeatedly to disperse. When they refused to disperse, some arrests were made for trespassing. Others were arrested for disorderly conduct.
Protests are allowed at the University of Texas. Since October and prior to April 24, no fewer than 13 pro-Palestinian free speech events were held on the UT campus, and four more demonstrations have been held since Thursday, largely without incident. The University strongly supports the free speech and assembly rights of our community and we want students and others on campus to know that protests on campus are fully permissible, provided that they do not violate Institutional Rules or threaten the safety of our campus community.

DPS said in a statement Monday that “DPS personnel provided support with the on-campus protest as requested. There were no arrests made by DPS personnel.”

Last Wednesday, 57 people were booked into the Travis County Jail following a pro-Palestinian protest on campus. The Travis County Attorney’s office said Friday it reviewed the cases and determined they would not proceed because they did not have “sufficient probable cause.”
 
This is not why you were elected ...how does this mind set make you a representative of all the people in your district??

Coke prices raised 13%

"The beverage behemoth posted $11.30 billion in first-quarter revenue on Tuesday, exceeding Wall Street’s $10.96 billion expectations, even as it grappled with a modest case volume growth of only 1%.

While the company attributes about half of its price increase to inflation—which increased 0.4% in March and 3.5% over the past 12 months, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics—that’s not the only reason Coke raised its prices. Per its earnings, over half of its price/mix growth were choices it made to compete with the marketplace rivals.

Coke joins the likes of WK Kellogg, General Mills, and Molson Coors— companies which have been rewarded for continuing to increase prices. Cereal maker WK Kellogg saw a 7.5% price/mix increase in its fourth quarter, despite a 10.1% decrease in sales volumes; Molson Coors similarly saw a 4.2% price/mix increase, despite modest volume declines.... This is going to be another year of price-led revenue growth even though pricing has come down."

Wonder why inflation is so painful... this crap sucks. If there are only a few large companies that sell most food (and other staples) and all of them raise prices, how are consumers supposed to help influence prices? Market is supposed to dictate prices but that's really hard when there's so little competition left.
