Who Should OSU Hire as Next Basketball Head Coach?

My educated guess is that we reached out to Sprinkles and it was clear he was going to UW, reached out to Devries and he had his preference for WVU, and may have already been told that Schertz has a preference (SLU), and we're now on to Lutz, Medved, McCullom, Drew, etc. The best case scenario is that we have been given warm reception from McDermott's people, but I see that as really low.
I'd put it at 50% Lutz, 30% McCullom, 20% other.
It will go like this, “ Chad Weiberg walked into the bar two steps behind Billy Self and they were both laughing and having a good time. Weiberg leaned back and took a draw off his Monte Cristo cigar and gave a wry smile, “Life is good” meanwhile Self is laughing and says “It’s good to be home, if you are going to be at a football school why screw around with a bad one? Go Pokes”

I would be happy if we could land Schertz.
Best we can offer is a run-on sentence abomination of an article authored by RA. Co-written by Berry Tramel if you're lucky.
I would not bet a wooden nickel on any "scoop" that RA puts out there.

Not saying we hire the guy but dang that’s impressive. Would he be interested in an assistant coaching position? Wouldn’t even have to move probably.

I would be happy with either of these hires with maybe just a slight lean towards Schertz.
I just really don't want Bryce Drew. I can't get past his 0-18 conference record at Vandy.
I doubt that will ever happen. I also think its way less dramatic than the fans seem to think. We are having discussions, were told no by some, and are still talking with others. If we end up with another no name assistant, then it'll be way more interesting (and sad).
Haha, I just read a Hemmingway novel and he had a sentence that was almost one page long with probably 30 commas. RA is a literary genius.
On that point, to quote another great mind, Albert Einstein...
"The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it's limits."
Same reason McCollum is intriguing. Guys that know how to win typically translate.
Who were we told no by? Provide a link to the interview where a coach has come out and said “I spoke to Chad Weiberg in Oklahoma State and turned them down.” Should be relatively easy to do.
This fan base really needs help.
My guess is he was pretty low on their list. Good resume, but nothing sticks out when compared to DeVries and Sprinkle. In fact, he's never made it past the first round. The Louisville boards are probably not happy thinking they'd get some big time P-5 coach with Sweet 16s and Final Fours on the resume ala May who went to Michigan.
