Wendell Gregory Arrested

Frustrated Head GIF

The Pokes Report article states the coaching staff has known about this since May, so I assume punishment was handled internally over the summer. Hopefully he'll play against Oregon.

I know everyone makes stupid decisions when they're young, but he has to be smarter than this. Hopefully he'll learn from this and stay out of trouble moving forward.

With everything you know about college athletics…..who f**king cares?

Joe Mixon rearranged a young lady’s face, arrested? Nope.

Georgia players have a real life grand theft auto happening on the weekly in Athens. Handled internally.

Rapelor. Please.

Countless others.

Gone are the days where we get to be hoity toity and holier than thou, we have enough disadvantages at the starting line.

Yeah. A decade ago some of us would be saying that we don't care how good he is-suspended him and boot him if it happens again. HE NEEDS TO LEARN HIS LESSON!

And honestly Id probably be in that camp. Running a clean program was important because if you (or at least we) didn't we knew the NCAA was gonna come in and screw with us.

Now, no one cares. We know he has enough money on him that $200 probably means less to him that it does to me. So pay it back, say sorry, run a few bleachers, and move on. I worry about the lesson this teaches to him and others-if you run fast and/or have money the rules don't apply the same way, but that's where we are right now.

Play him or he will be gone at the first opportunity.

I used to be of the opinion that you gotta teach them a lesson, or they´ll never learn and continue their devious ways...not anymore...I still believe in punishment and consequences, but have seen too many people get disciplined in life and still continue to make dumbass decisions...also, seen others be model citizens after a major mistake...discipline the kid, let him play football; maybe he made ONE mistake and no more, maybe he´ll be a lifelong shoplifter...nobody knows...
