If there were no imaginary lines would we be better off as a global community?
I'm looking at this from the inside (the US) out. Your question comes from the outside. I understand why you asked it, but it looks more of like an Australian beef to me. See my response to JD.

Im pretty sure imaginary man made lines are used to reject Christ and exclude people within certain lines of hearing the message of Christ, how do you show the world LOVE without going across their imaginary lines to LOVE them ?
Worldy Values and Worldly Corruption is defined within the imaginary man made lines and without them the basis for alot of corruption. What is corruption and Worldly within one set of imaginary lines isn't the same for others inside their imaginary lines
Bottom line God commands Christian specifically to avoid these things and seek to find the lost on the entire Earth.......not fortify imaginary lines and base our Christian world view around that imaginary line and KILL or Restrict others around that imaginary line EVEN WHEN THEY ARE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST

Its impossible to say. The concept of nationalism is fairly new and only dates back to around the time of the American and French revolutions. But even before that there was some semblance of imaginary lines.
I would think in some instances we would be and some we wouldn't. In times of political upheaval it would be nice for people to just up and leave (think the Jewish population in Europe prior to WW2) but we would be creating refugee situations more often. Allowing the brightest minds to congregate would lead to more innovation and criminals couldn't just escape to a country with a non extradition policy. But you would have to deal with people relocating to more desirable parts of the world and depletion of resources there.
No, you misunderstood. While the Australian government did do something dirty to me as a permanent resident, I was never under the threat of deportation. That is a US issue for permanent residents right now. I just personalized the example.
And, nothing veiled about what I said at all. Think about something that is incredibly important to you in your life. You worked very hard for this thing, paid many thousands of dollars for it, it harms nobody, and it is supposed to last a lifetime.
Now, have a group of people that are not in any way affected by this important part of your life. But, they are advocating for a law to take it away from you.
Look back at what I said and see if it is an insult to someone like that. I think my words were quite tempered relative to what I really think about people like that.
Your response to JD was only about high ranking officials in the government. So, you think that every dual citizen should lose that because of a theoretical conflict of interest for the 0.00015% of the population in those roles?
There are so many legal conflicts of interest for high ranking people in our government. Where do you think this ranks?

The lines existed before and during the time of Christ. The lines haven’t stopped the spread of Christ’s word during and after his departure from this earth.
The lines have been used for good and evil.

I would assume that to mean that any Christian would see Christians from other parts of the world moving into their lines as a cause for great joy and celebration and an opportunity to come together in Christ
We never know, part of God's plan with immigration across this globe and at this very point in time maybe the will of God for this to be happening and instead of celebrating with those in Christ who come to us from afar we are working to throw out a VERY widely and deeply devout Christian population with cultural STRONG family values that American Christians claim America via missing. And not just throw out them, but their children and their children's children
Let me see if I understand the positions you appear to be advocating:

I would advocate no stock trading for elected officials and no dual citizenship. Too much potential for conflict of interest.
