If he's going to be remembered as this great religious guy to the point where the federal government is trying to make it a crime to talk bad about him, he should probably be held to a higher standard than as good as Mr Beast.

Nah, I'm good on that. I've been to plenty of churches in my life. I've been to my wifes church in Nebraska plenty of time, actually liked most of what the pastor preached. Until he mentioned "loving everybody" and the people forced him out for a MAGA lover.

I'm sure there are a lot of "good" churches to attend.

They are FAR overshadowed by the bad ones. Mega churches, "pastors" with multi million dollar homes and private jets, bullying minority groups from the pulpit, siding with ANY political figures, fleecing congregations of money in the name of Jesus...and of course the whole pedo thing.

This society uses the bible to demonize the gay community, immigrants, and uses it to decide what women can do, say, and feel. The people on this board that are the most "anti-everything" are usually the ones who say they have the strongest faith.

The loudest voices in most religions are the most unhinged. Until your "good" churches and people of faith shout down the loud/bad ones, I will continue to assume they are all complicit and like minded.

I think Jesus would be absolutely appalled at people revering Charlie Kirk and his hateful message. If you think Jesus' teachings align with what Charlie Kirk stood for, then that's all I need to know.

The rage bait videos are still ingrained, I see. Did you watch any positive ones? There are many, but I've found all his haters won't take any time to view them even when handed over.

I buy most of my stuff from Amazon so my observations differ. Is this like a Kohls/Target/whoever thing? Like I said its not something Ive seen a lot in retail but I don't do much there. I just look at stuff like that and see it as self promotion-not just Kirk but in general. I didn't realize he was in the retail business and just figured he was selling shirts to promote his brand.

And yeah. He was about debate and seemed to have no problem with criticism so telling people they risk prosecution for speaking ill of him wouldn't sit right with him. Completely agree there.

I’m gonna go the Exhile path. Convincing made up minds the opposite is a lot of work, even with good evidence.

I’ll end my take with this. I’ve found the truth to reside in the middle in my 40 years on earth. Was Charlie the evil guy that he’s made out to be by the left? No. Is he the second coming of Jesus like the right makes out to be? No.

He was a conservative Christian that was imperfect. But the way he went out martyred him.

Yep. Charity is self promoting and a tax right off. But it’s better than no charity.

Define what they are going to use as criteria for "celebrating" and who sets that and how often is it updated ?

Define how it is a schools job to police their employees speech when they aren't at work

Define who's responsibility on the school level it is to monitor teacher social media accts and how much do you pay them and what hours they work ?

Define the reconciliation process if the teacher had their phone / laptop stolen and the thief posted under their acct OR if the social media posting were the result of a legitimate hack

IF the offense was a voice mail or a video define the process , who will pay, and who will determine the video and audio are authentic and not AI generated and the teacher is the teacher of something sinister?
