US continues to go backward...

Just because a black MAGA delivered the message doesn’t mean the answer to Mile is discredited. I could go find a link to the summit but I thought the perspective of a black man was important.

I haven’t asked why people are saying bad things about him because there’s no need to ask. Their statements are dead giveaways. Each statement is typically about racism, homophobia, misogyny, etc. Those topics are typically viewed as huge turnoffs. So, there’s the reason. Those topics are easily destroyed by the truth in Charlie’s work. His work is all filmed.

Film don’t lie.
I have also watched the film, and I agree, it doesn't lie. There are things that he has said that cannot be overlooked or glossed over.

Do you take issue on anything that he said? If so, which comments don't sit right?

Home work assignment:

Pick a church, any church in wherever you live. I’m assuming Denver. Let me know if this is what they preach on Sunday.

I go to church intermittently. I don't have that experience.

A few years back I was in Oklahoma and crashed at my buddies house in Collinsville, OK and went with him and his family to church. It was a normal service and uplifting sermon until the 30 minute mark about how Gays are coming from your children and the government can't or won't stop them; so you have to do the work at home and warn of the evils of homosexuality.

It was the weirdest thing ever. @milehighpoke isn't completely wrong. SOME churches are on that paranoid script.

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon has expressed skepticism over the text messages allegedly sent by Charlie Kirk’s suspected killer to his roommate, telling viewers of his War Room podcast that he’s “not buying the script.”

Not going to happen. Regardless of what you think about the man... he started a youth movement in America (and really, across the globe). Turning Point USA had an additional 37,000 chapter requests the past week. That would be over a 900% increase.
TPUSA made it possible for Kirk to have a $4.75 million dollar mansion in Arizona. I wonder if he ever preached about things that Jesus said:

"Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, ‘You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.’ When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions."

"He said also to the one who had invited him, ‘When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.’"

"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who longed to satisfy his hunger with what fell from the rich man’s table; even the dogs would come and lick his sores. The poor man died and was carried away by the angels to be with Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried."

After he got rich, I hope Kirk gave to the poor.

zzzzzzzzzz........ this is the liberal BS that is the most annoying.

and then there´s the other ones who now are getting away from churches and Christianity because of all these so-called Godly men who are phonies, and see many Christians that are friends and family members who put these dudes on a pedestal because they mentioned God, or the Bible, or quoted a scripture. I know it´s not a reason to move away from Christianity, but I don´t want anything to do with this new version of Christians or Christianity.

What's neat about Christianly... there are dozens of denominations. Go look into First United Methodist (which is what I am) and tell me that there are dudes on a pedestal ranting.

A Virginia pastor’s passionate sermon given after Charlie Kirk’s death is now drawing national attention.

"Charlie Kirk did not deserve to be assassinated," Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley said, pointing to what he described as a pattern of "selective rage" across the country.

"I'm overwhelmed," he said. "Hearing people with selective rage who are mad about Charlie Kirk but didn't give a damn about Melissa Hortman and her husband when they were shot down in their home," he told the congregation, as the room erupted. "Tell me I ought to have compassion for the death of a man who had no respect for my own life," he said.

He said Joe Biden’s crimes deserved the death penalty. Thought that was right up there with people rooting for Trump’s death.

Charlie’s wife cloths the homeless. For every shirt sold another is donated to the homeless.

OK, so I´ve done a bit more into watching ´full videos´ of Charlie...and my opinion of him did not change...correct me if Iḿ wrong, but him saying the Civil Rights Act was a mistake is because DEI evolved from it (SMH). Let´s just discount all the great things accomplished through the Civil Rights Act!! And when he mentioned his questioning if a black pilot was qualified, he follows up with that´s not how he is, DEI and society have forced him to think like that...BS...I have never questioned the qualifications of any minority when I saw them in uniform, in a management position, any position of power...he is just blaming others for his prejudiced/racist view of blacks!

Yes, typo. Trying to get to work.

My point is... not all Christian churches are the same. A good example, is the church I'm a member of. We are very pro-LGBTQ+ and welcoming of everyone. Yea, many churches aren't.. but if someone is a Christian and as been 'turned off' by a certain pastor or church, then find one who aligns with your ideologies and beliefs.
