Get rid of our patchwork of poorly formed gun laws. Replace with gun laws from a country that does not have more than 5 murders/100K people.

I didn't mean to abolish 20,000 laws against guns. Instead, why make any more laws if they don't work. Republicans don't want any new prohibitive laws against guns that might work.

I hope current laws would work that after Kirk's killer messaged that he was going to take out Kirk, that cops if notified in time would have the power to track him down and take away the potential killer's guns. That should happen to anyone who abuses the 2nd Amendment like that.

If you make a threat to anyone, yea. I agree. People should have spoken up when he posted threats. The group he was a part of, they are all to blame in some aspect.
