This is how we allow our Senators to dress to meet Heads of State now? We’re all supposed to think this is normal and just accept it? Screw Schumer for dropping the dress code to allow this. Not suggesting we have to go back to the Bohner days of no sleeveless dresses for women, but show some respect for the office you were elected to or stay home.

Schumer told the Sergeant at Arms to no longer enforce the dress code so Fetterman can now vote from the floor looking like he just came back from Wal Mart. More concerned about the clowns playing chicken with the debt ceiling, trumped up charges of Biden, 147 Republicans who voted to not accept the election results, and how on earth a person twice impeached and criminally indicted on 90 counts is an answer to anyone’s prayers except those that desire an autocratic leader, fascism, and anarchy. I’m saying that Fatterman should respect the Senate floor, one of the true bastions of freedom in human history. Instead he’s walking around there looking like he’s on the tail end of a 4 day drunk at some low end Mexican resort. Just my opinion but dressing like this to meet with a visiting head of state is an embarrassment to our country. This is the place where Republicans voted to free the slaves and passed the 1875,1957,and 1964 Civil Rights Acts in spite of Democrats strong opposition. Even if he doesn’t respect the office, he should respect the history! You’ve said several times impeach him, I’m not sure you understand what that is or how it works. I don’t think the Senate should censure the guy, just don’t let him in until he goes back to wearing appropriate clothing when conducting the nation’s business.
