Trump 47

To be 100% clear, a Secret Service Officer WAS reported as being Shot in this event and the DOJ originally filed a claim saying the Secret Service Officer was hit in the chest in his bulletproof vest. Their original filing blamed this on suspect Cole Allen. Now they have updated the claim and completely removed the entire narrative and per their latest filing NO ONE WAS SHOT during the event?

DOJ drops entire claim of Secret Service officer being shot during WHCD attack

In its latest legal filings, the Department of Justice removed a claim that a Secret Service officer was shot when Cole Allen allegedly tried to breach the White House Correspondents' Dinner with firearms on Saturday.

The Department asserted in its probable cause affidavit over the weekend that Allen "approached and ran through the magnetometer holding a long gun."

"As he did so, U.S. Secret Service personnel assigned to the checkpoint heard a loud gunshot. U.S. Secret Service Officer V.G. was shot once in the chest; Officer V.G. was wearing a ballistic vest at the time," the affidavit said. "Officer V.G. drew his service weapon and fired multiple times at ALLEN, who fell to the ground and suffered minor injuries but was not shot."

On Wednesday, however, there was no mention of the officer's shooting in the government's memorandum in support of pretrial detention.

"Shortly after 8:30 p.m., the defendant approached a USSS security screening checkpoint located on the Terrace Level of the hotel," the document stated. "Before the defendant approached the checkpoint, he discarded a long black coat that concealed a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. The defendant then sprinted through one of the magnetometers at the checkpoint and ran in the direction of the stairs leading to the ballroom where the President and members of his family and Cabinet were located."

"As the defendant did so, he held a shotgun in both hands in a raised position parallel to the ground. A USSS officer observed the defendant fire the shotgun in the direction of the stairs leading down to the ballroom," the filing continued. "The USSS officer drew his service weapon and fired five times at the defendant. The defendant fell to the ground, was restrained by law enforcement, and was placed under arrest."

During a press conference this week, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche refused to say whether Allen had shot the officer.

“We want to get that right, so we’re still looking at that,” he insisted. “As far as getting into exacting ballistics, I’m not going to do that today because it’s still being looked at and finalized.”

“It’s not an exact science,” he added. “It scatters everywhere. Sometimes it just disappears actually.”

Initial reports said the officer was hit in the chest and saved by a bulletproof vest.

The GOP is weak pathetic wet noodles. They are scared to death if Trump

🚨 HOT MIC: Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) was caught asking staff during questioning of Trump judicial nominees: “What would be wrong if they said Biden won?”

Multiple people in the room heard it. GOP staffers were reportedly panicking, according to sources familiar.

Goodlander: Do you agree with the statement, “the military won't follow unlawful orders.”

Hegseth: I do, but understand what you're insinuating is a partisan point.

Goodlander: I’m actually quoting you directly from 2016.

GOODLANDER: Do you know what the average cost of a gallon of gas was in this country was on February 28?

HEGSETH: If you live in California, it's $8

GOODLANDER: $2.83. Do you know what the cost is today?

HEGSETH: Much higher in California

GOODLANDER: $4.23. You can't answer this basic question?

So to be clear, your reasoning /justification of a person being happy if Trump died is because Trump was "overseeing a soldier's wife being ripped out of the country because they are not yet citizens". I strongly disagree that should increase a level of hate so much they are happy someone died. There are a lot of politicians I disagree with, but I have never remotely thought ...man I would be happy if that person died. But...this country has a lot of different people and perspectives.

We know that under President Obama (remember he was known as the "Deporter in Chief") similar activity occurred. During his first term over 2/3rds of the nearly 3M people deported had no criminal record. Certainly I think we can agree that spouses of people were "ripped out of the country" during this time.

So two questions:
1) If someone with a different ideology than you was hoping Obama would die back in 2011....would you held the same feelings and believe it is logical and fair for them to feel that way (due to same activity)?
2) Is it worse for deportations of military spouses than spouses of individuals with non-military jobs?
Why are you resorting to strawmen instread of simply admitting you misused the word direct? I said nothing about "Happy." Thinking that if an event occurred it would be better for the world is far different than being hateful or happy about a death. You are thinking at a child-like level if you cannot understand that fairly minimal nuance.

No, we do not know this "similar activity" occurred under Obama. Your whataboutism in a failing attempt to protect your pedo hero is simply a lie. https://www.patheos.com/blogs/progr...port-military-spouses/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

1. I'm not going to answer a BS straw man about a lie. Obama's activites were not the same. There are TONS of articles about the difference if you want to fix your ignorance.
2. Yes. While I don't think hardly any of them should be deported (real criminals, recent arrivals etc maybe) there is absolutely a difference in what we expect from and give to our military.

I am glad you supplied the link as it documents that Obama expanded the PIP .........in 2013. Why didn't he do that in 2008?

And saying that I even remotely support Trump reveals yourself. Hint: not everyone to the right of AOC is a Trump supporter.

1. If you think that it is a lie that Obama never deported a spouse you are intentionally ignorant. Are you seriously saying that, of the 1.8M people w/o criminal charges who were deported under Obama, none were married to someone here legally? C'mon.
2. I respect anyone who served in the military. My dad was an immigrant and in the Army. Not sure I agree that due to your spouse's job that an illegal immigrant should receive different protections.

It is okay to say you feel that way about Trump because you strongly dislike him and you like Obama. But acting like deporting a spouse was somehow exclusive to Trump is obtuse.

It is a country of 330 million people. Did some military spouse get deported during Obama's presidency? I don't know but probably so. Same for all the other presidents. But, did Obama specifically create policies that target people like that as Trump did? Did Obama have a Stephen Miller running it? Absolutely not and we both know it. If you somehow do not, you are just ignorant. Find me one real source that claims that Trump is just continuing policies like Obama. Saying that is pure stupidity (and something ONLY a Trump defender would even consider attempting)

I am right of AOC. AOC has nothing to do with you being a Trump supporter. The fact that you have never once started a subject that was against Trump shows it. The fact that most of the time someone posts something pro-Trump it has your little 'like' or 'agree' attached shows it. Sure Trump is so outrageously bad that even you will say something about him when pressed. That changes nothing. If somehow you dislike him as president, you are doing an AMAZING job hiding it.
