NEW: A source that was staying inside of the Hilton hotel during the White House Correspondents Dinner confirmed to me that the elevators did not require a key card to move from floor to floor yesterday.
Typically, you would need to swipe a key card to move through the building.
Yesterday, that was not the case.

How he was able to get guns there by training should be focused on. If we can't trust current gun legislation what's the point of having it?

To be fair everyone is thinking it, or it has at least crossed their mind. No one rational was thinking it a couple if years ago when the first attempt happened. And Im not saying im convinced one way or the other (still haven't been able to confirm if the polymarket rumor is true, but haven't really looked that hard). It's just that the administration has burned any credibility for transparency in major events. And we are looking at the what, 5th attempted or accomplished assassination of a political figure in under 24 months? All of them allegedly by people who to my knowledge aren't criminal masterminds. It just makes you wonder a little.
