DHS Counterterrorism Official Julia Varvaro Under Investigation Over “Sugar Daddy” Complaint
Varvaro, 29, who serves as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism at the Department of Homeland Security, is now facing a formal complaint with the DHS Inspector General.
According to the complaint, a man claims he spent $40,000 in just three months on luxury trips and Cartier jewelry for Varvaro—who allegedly described her collection as “TROPHIES from her sugar daddies.”
When warned the arrangement could jeopardize her Top Secret clearance, she allegedly responded that she was “above being tested.” In another message sent during a Homeland Security conference, she reportedly wrote: “They call me Secretary. I like it… I’m the boss princess.”
Now, a former Central Intelligence Agency officer is questioning how a full background investigation missed any of this.
This is the same administration that promised to hire “only the best.”
