Bari Weiss, the editor-in-chief at the now Trump-friendly CBS News, has announced there will be mass layoffs at the network.
In a Friday memo to staff, Weiss and CBS president Tom Cibrowski announced the cuts, saying those affected will be notified by the end of the “difficult day.”
“It’s no secret that the news business is changing radically, and that we need to change along with it,” Weiss and Cibrowski wrote.
“New audiences are burgeoning in new places, and we are pressing forward with ambitious plans to grow and invest so that we can be there for them. That means some parts of our newsroom must get smaller to make room for the things we must build to remain competitive.”

No they are going to build 2 more of these cities and call these cities "districts" and each will be responsible for manufacturing or running one specific type of industry
And every year there will be something called The Reaping and a male and female child from 13-18 and the. They will fight to the death to appease the Capitol and you will never be allowed to leave your district and your kids and your children's children children will all learn and live a life dedicated to what ever their district makes where they are born

President Donald Trump announced Thursday the White House will host the “Patriot Games,” a competition with young athletes from across the county, as part of the celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary next year.“In the fall, we will host the first ever Patriot Games, an unprecedented four-day athletic event featuring the greatest high school athletes — one young man and one young woman from each state and territory,” Trump said.
The way this is going I might just want to volunteer as tribute.

Trump signs EO to prevent other football games during Army-Navy game
(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump presented the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy to the Navy football team Friday, announcing a new executive order reserving a broadcast window for the Army-Navy game.
Trump said the order will prevent any other games from being played during the four hours allotted for the Army-Navy game.
The order compels Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr to coordinate with college football organizations to establish an exclusive window for the classic game.
It also compels Carr to consider the public interest obligations of over-the-air television broadcasters and whether the game’s designation as a national service event is still necessary.
The order does not force any media entity to do anything, and it doesn’t force the NCAA or College Football Playoff Committee to comply, though they are both listed as organizations for Lutnick and Carr to work with.
“We’ll probably get sued at some point, we always get sued,” Trump said, before saying he would win in court.
Uh, when was the last time this happened? That game has been played by itself for years.
