Trump 47

Congressman Jamie Raskin just said that he was able to view the full and unredacted Epstein Files, and searching Donald Trump's name resulted in "MORE THAN A MILLION" results.

We knew of 38,000 mentions. That means we know of only ~3% of Trump's involvement with a convicted child sexual abuser and sex trafficker.

Anyone still not ready to impeach and remove him is complicit. Period.

A whistleblower complaint alleging wrongdoing by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was based on the intercept of a conversation between two foreign citizens discussing a person close to President Trump, according to the whistleblower’s lawyer.

CNN Host: Trump's trade war is hitting Americans maybe even harder than previously thought. Tariffs raised taxes for the average American household by $1,000 last year, and that is expected to rise to $1,300 this year. This is the largest US tax increase as a percent of GDP since 1993.

So strange. This guy resembles our disgusting, tribal, bigoted, Trump-boot-licking VP. But he talks so rationally.

Trump: "I'm letting everybody that builds a plant build their own electric plant. So they're building a massive plant that's 4 miles long by 4 miles wide, and I'm letting them build electric plants. Some are nuclear, some are oil and gas, some are coal as a backup just in case."

Remember when some of you on this very board were defending Trump's tariffs and insisting they weren't retaliatory in nature

You got conned

Trump: "So I put on a 30% tariff, which is very low. I got an emergency call from I believe the prime minister of Switzerland. She was very aggressive ... I didn't really like the way she talked to us, so instead of giving her a reduction, I raised it to 39%."

Looney Toons

TRUMP: We can grow at 15 percent. I think more than that!

KUDLOW: Well, 15 is a big number sir

TRUMP: But Larry, you can do it. We used to grow at 15 percent because we had spirit. Today we have a lot of communism

Trump: "Somalia has come in here -- what they've done to our country, these people -- they've come into our country, and what they've done with that fake congresswoman. She's so bad."

So, the guy who holds $4.7 billion of Trump's assets broke the law but then got a pardon.

Yet ordinary Americans peacefully protesting against Trump are killed in the streets and accused of domestic terrorism.

It's a crooked two-tiered system of justice—and it won't stand.

House rejects tariff restrictions in rebuke of Trump and Johnson

The House has rejected an attempt to block votes that would end the national emergency underpinning President Donald Trump’s tariffs, opening the controversial policy up for challenges for the first time in nearly a year.

The Republican-controlled chamber had preemptively muzzled opposition to the administration’s trade policy since last March. The latest prohibition expired at the end of January, and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) attempted to renew it through July as part of a procedural vote Tuesday night.

But three House Republicans — Reps. Thomas Massie (Kentucky), Don Bacon (Nebraska) and Kevin Kiley (California) — voted with all of the chamber’s Democrats to block the move.

The vote makes it possible for the House to consider measures that would end the national emergency Trump declared to justify sweeping tariffs on other countries’ imports. The practical impact of such measures is likely to be limited — to take effect, they would also need to pass in the Senate and be signed by Trump. But supporters said allowing debate is an important step, and it could prove politically fraught for the president.

“Congress needs to be able to debate on tariffs. Tariffs have been a ‘net negative’ for the economy and are a significant tax that American consumers, manufacturers, and farmers are paying,” Bacon wrote in a post on X. “Article I of the Constitution places authority over taxes and tariffs with Congress for a reason, but for too long, we have handed that authority to the executive branch. It’s time for Congress to reclaim that responsibility.”

Gee I wonder how this all ties in to the Voter laws they are trying to change that would require some 29+ Million people to get a passport to Vote, but now they can't get a Passport either if they owe ANY back Child Support. Hrm...Gee , I wonder who they are targeting here...and don't Kid yourself. This is about VOTING.....not Child Support.

Trump eyes proactive passport revocation and travel ban for parents with unpaid bills

Parents in the United States who owe substantial child support payments could soon find themselves unable to travel internationally, as federal authorities prepare to significantly ramp up enforcement of a decades-old law.

The U.S government is set to expand and intensify a 30-year-old regulation that permits the federal government to revoke American passports until outstanding payments are settled, according to three US officials.

While federal legislation from 1996 has allowed for passport revocations for unpaid child support exceeding $2,500, the State Department previously acted only when an individual applied to renew their travel document or sought other consular services.

This meant enforcement was contingent on the person initiating contact with the department for assistance.

However, the department is now poised to proactively revoke passports based on data shared by the Health and Human Services Department, officials familiar with the plan stated anonymously, as the change has not yet been publicly announced.

Thousands of individuals are believed to be affected by this shift. Given the potentially large number of those owing child support who currently hold passports, the State Department will implement the change in stages.

The first group to be affected will be passport holders who owe more than $100,000 in past-due child support, the officials said. One of the officials said fewer than 500 people meet that threshold and could avoid having their passport revoked if they enter into a payment plan with HHS after being notified of the pending revocation.

The official acknowledged, though, that if and when the threshold is lowered to a smaller past-due amount, the number of those affected will rise significantly.

The official could not say when any further changes would take effect or estimate how many people might then lose their passports.

In an emailed response to the AP's queries about the change, the State Department said it "is reviewing options to enforce long-standing law to prevent those owing substantial amounts of child support from neglecting their legal and moral obligations to their children.”

It added: “It is simple: deadbeat parents need to pay their child support arrears.”

What....?

The only time we've ever grown greater than 10% is during WW2. Not even immediately after - literally just during the war.

In the last 50 years, we've only hit above 5% twice. 1984 and 2021 (COVID recovery).

This dude is gonna kill us all.

The FAA has abruptly lifted its unprecedented ten day closure of El Paso airspace. Previously, no advanced notice was given and no justifiable explanation had been provided. This rash decision will erode trust in public safety.

The President should immediately give Congress and the American people a rational explanation for such an extreme and unprecedented move.
