NATO Chief Dumps Cold Water on Trump’s Spin on Greenland “Framework”

Mere hours after Trump declared he had discussed a “framework” for obtaining Greenland with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the man on the other end of the line, said, “That issue did not come up any more in my conversations tonight with the president."

Speaking of the Michigan gun ban, interesting that Oklahoma Rep. Molly Jenkins wants people to be allowed to have guns when entering the Oklahoma State Capitol. I don't support it. It's a hassle to be checked at the entrance, but I feel safer being in the Capitol. Same with the Payne County Courthouse. With anybody having guns in such places, it's just an accident or intentional incident waiting to happen.
Molly Jenkins might be one of the most dishonest people I have ever talked to. Nope. She is the most dishonest person I have ever talked to.

WOW! Anyway, I hope enough good Republicans will file to run against her so as to hopefully primary her the hell out of there. I would also hope and think that most Oklahoma legislators appreciate that the ban on guns for people when entering the State Capitol means they shouldn't need to feel the need that they had better wear bullet proof vests when on the job at the State Capitol. Allowing guns just means more good people too reluctant to run for state legislator. I think the issue is more about bad people with guns control than gun control itself.

Jenkins has also been exposed for voting NO in so many ways on bills passed that were pro public education and made law. For starters, she voted against the cell ban in public schools. On something different, HB 1389, mammography screening. On that, Jenkins was 1 of 3 nays with 83 yeas. Since she is a woman, I'll never get Jenkins on HB 1389. She is surely more extreme and radical than the average Oklahoma Republican.

Donald Trump spoke with the @wsj about the killing of Alex Pretti, says they’re ‘Reviewing everything’:

“I don’t like any shooting. I don’t like it…But I don’t like it when somebody goes into a protest and he’s got a very powerful, fully loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also. That doesn’t play good either.”

He doesn’t like a very legal, very even playing field.

Trump admin reportedly plans to use AI to write federal regulations

The Trump administration is planning on using Google Gemini to draft important federal regulations, as reported by ProPublica. This is starting with the Department of Transportation, according to interviews with agency staffers. Regulations created by the DOT help keep us safe when traveling.

The plan was initially presented to DOT staffers last month, with agency attorney Daniel Cohen writing to colleagues about AI's "potential to revolutionize the way we draft rulemakings." Gregory Zerzan, the agency's general counsel, has indicated that President Donald Trump is "very excited by this initiative" and that DOT will be "the first agency that is fully enabled to use AI to draft rules." This does suggest a pilot program of sorts, with eventual plans to bring AI to other departments.

Not *quite* a threat of invasion—when you drill down on exactly what's happening here—but definitely walking up to that line by way of *telling* Canada (not asking for a negotiation on the matter) that the United States will in the future violate Canadian sovereignty in ways that are currently illegal.

You can’t say that law enforcement should rough them up.

You can’t inquire about kneecapping protestors.

You can’t accuse immigrants of eating cats and dogs.

You can’t call them shit hole countries.

You can’t blame all the problems on immigrants.

You can’t pardon actual violent protestors and call them patriots.

You can’t lie about your policies

You can’t lie about what is happening and gaslight an entire country.

And then when protests erupt and protestors are killed act like you weren’t the problem.
